Camilles Erin Chan was born on June 1st, 1978 in Panorama City, California. Her parents, Corinne and Steve were thrilled to have their first child and named her after Corinne's mother, Camilles Kirkpatrick. The Chan family grew to include younger sisters Trista and Leslie, and younger brother, Kirk.

Cami attended private Catholic School in Chatsworth up until fifth grade, when the Chan family moved to Camarillo, California. Cami excelled in her new public academic environment, in spite of her going through her awkward stage of thick-rimmed glasses, bad teeth, and lack of any fashion sense. As she progressed into high school, she continued playing piano, while becoming involved in the high school band, choir, and tall flag team, eventually becoming Captain of the tall flag team. She remained a good student and was excited to be accepted to her first choice for colleges, the University of California, San Diego.

In her four years of college, she experiemented with a variety of majors including chemistry and writing, before settling into a major of Visual Arts Media with a Computer Emphasis.

After graduating, Cami was able to put her background in video, photography, and computer graphics to work as an assistant graphic designer at the Karl Strauss Breweries Headquarters. She was responsible for a number of accomplishments, and was proud to create a tee-shirt design that was sold in all of the Karl Strauss restaurants. Cami moved on to a local San Diego print shop, where she spent two fabulous years, gaining many technical skills before the untimely demise of the company.

Cami used her broad skill set to get a job at the corporate Coldwell Banker office as a Marketing Coordinator where she continues to build a successful career.

In her free time, Cami enjoys riding her Vespa scooter, watching movies, scolding her naughty turtle, Big Head, and going on many adventures with her best friend, Jeff.
